Do You Have Problems Writing Articles? by Shannon Clark
There are two common problems people complain about when writing articles for their marketing strategy. The first is that they know nothing about the topic they are writing about, and the second one is that they think writing articles takes too long. If you are experiencing this I want you to sit back, because I am going to blow both of these problems right out of the water.
*Writing About Subjects You Know Nothing About*
I have written articles on all sorts of subjects. from Forex to gardening, to auto repair to dog food. Yet I know nothing about most of them.
For most subjects then all you need to do is go out and find articles on the topic you are writing about. Read through those articles a couple of times until you get the gist of what it is about. Close down those articles, fire up your note pad, and just start writing. Don’t think about it too much, just let the words flow. The information should be fresh in your mind, making it easy to write.
I mentioned that you should close off all the articles you read prior to writing. You need to do this so that you are not tempted to copy anything from those articles. Copying other peoples articles is illegal and besides, you are striving for original content. You can go back to those articles if you have to get a name or something like that. Once you have it, close it back off and continue to write your article.
One of the places I like to go to for information is good old Google. I just type in the topic I want to write about in the search bar and 99% of the time I will get a ton of different articles that I can read. You can go to EzineArticles.com and look up your topic there to. For harder subjects like Forex for example you might want to go to Amazon.com and get the top book on the subject. I highly recommend this if you are going to build your website around a specific Niche. Using this technique you should find it easy to churn out a 500 word article with what you just read.
*Writing articles takes too long*
This is non-sense. I can write a complete article in 10 minutes if I don’t have to research it, 15 min. if I do.
First of all I gave you a great method above for writing articles quickly. Another way to churn out fast articles is to buy high quality PLR articles. You don’t have to worry about plagiarism here as long as you can trust the person you purchased the article from. You just go through the article and change the words so that it reads like you would say it.
The reason this cuts down the time it takes to write an article is that simply you don’t have to worry about angles. Such as ’3 steps to….’ or ’10 things you shouldn’t do’ ect., you just copy their angle in your own words. If the article was high quality to begin with then you will have a high quality unique article that’s ready to use..
I am a firm believer in keeping things simple. I got into online marketing to get rid of the job I did have, not replace it with another one. Writing articles is easy and extremely effective for getting targeted traffic to your offer. The more you apply these techniques you will find writing articles to be fast and fun at the same time.
