Why I write articles to promote my website for books I wrote   by Vince Stead

I came to the conclusion one day, that the only way I’m ever going to make money in the book writing business, is to write lots of books. I want to keep writing forever.

I read lots of articles and blogs about how successful people make extra money writing books, the people that do not get a best seller or are already famous.

I figured with hard work, I could make up a website, which I do myself. I write the books myself, and then I design the covers, and then upload the interior files for my books, and then get them listed on places like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and places like that.

Lots of articles I read, say the authors have built their own websites, and to drive traffic to it, they start their own blogs, and write articles, that drive folks to their websites.

I like to usually work on my books from about midnight until 2:00am in the morning. I find this time my house is the quietest, and no one seems to bother me and ask me to stop working and do things.

I’m still in hopes of finding a literary agent and a publisher. I’ve had 1 book published, and the rest have been self published.

I have been writing articles for the internet, and have 51 of them published so far. I’m no where near quitting my day job, or my night job for that matter. I have been selling lots more books now, than I was just 2 months ago, so everything I’ve been doing has been helping. I can’t wait to see what my stuff is like in 1 year, 2 years, 3 years and so on. If I never get an agent or publisher, I’m fine with that also. I’ve already planned on writing tons of books, and marketing them myself. When you get 70% royalty on your book, and you can price it any price you want, that is hard to beat really!
